The Department of Civil Engineering started offering B.Tech programme and Diploma programme in Civil Engineering in the year 2010 with an intake of 60 for B.Tech and 60 for Diploma. A Team of qualified faculty with ample experience is the highlight of the Department.

The B.Tech graduate program in Civil engineering focuses to impart advanced knowledge in the field of advanced technology along with old knowledge and make them capable of providing solutions with professional and ethical responsibility. The course also gives importance to research based projects and to making them ready to satisfy current needs of the industry.

Civil and Environmental Engineering

Civil and Environmental Engineering is concerned with planning, designing, constructing, and operating various physical works; developing and utilizing natural resources in an environmentally sound manner; providing the infrastructure which supports the highest quality of life in the history of the world; and protecting public health and renovating impacted terrestrial and aquatic systems from the mismanagement of toxic and hazardous waste.

Environmental engineers use principles of engineering, chemistry, and biology to develop technical solutions to provide safe water, sanitation, and clean air.
